Epiphany: Love One Another, Just As I Have Loved You

Whether you’re new to TDC or the liturgical calendar, Epiphany typically begins in Christmas and ends before Lent. While it may not be the most highlighted part of the calendar, it is still crucial part of the Gospel - the story of Jesus.

Some have said that Epiphany serves as a sort of break between the coming of Christ (Advent) and the passion of Christ (Easter), a season to rest in the promises of God fulfilled.

It is a time that focuses in on the coming of Jesus Christ and the hope He brings to the nations. As we celebrate the coming of Jesus Christ, we are called to proclaim the good news that Jesus came to save sinners. One of the ways that we as the church can show the world that we love Him is in how we love one another. As Jesus said, “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35)

This year we are excited to dive into how the life of Jesus’ compels us to love one another and to fulfill the “one another’s” found in the New Testament!
