What this site is
This site is the public-facing communication tool for The District Church. We use it to share information about our Sunday gatherings, sermons, ministries, events, and core beliefs. We are a nonprofit religious organization. Our registered legal name is The District Church Incorporated; "The District Church" is the name we go by.
Content ownership
Sermons, blog posts, photos, and other content on this site are the work of The District Church and our preachers, unless we credit another source. You are welcome to share full sermons, link to our pages, or quote short passages with attribution. Please do not republish full articles or repackage our sermons commercially without contacting us.
Our standard translation is the English Standard Version. Scripture quotations are from the ESV® Bible (The Holy Bible, English Standard Version®), copyright © 2001 by Crossway, a publishing ministry of Good News Publishers. Used by permission. All rights reserved. Where another translation is quoted it is named at the point of use, and that translation's copyright is held by its own publisher.

Links to other sites
We sometimes link to YouTube, Church Center, Planning Center, or other partner sites. We do not control those sites. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you are on them. Some of them can open in a window over this site rather than in a new tab, like the Connect Card on our Plan Your Visit page. It is still their service under their own terms, even though it appears on top of our page.

Giving
Online giving runs through Church Center (Planning Center Giving). Their terms govern transactions. We are a registered nonprofit and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. A receipt is issued by Church Center at the time of the gift and an annual statement is provided to donors.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we will change the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any disputes arising from use of the site will be resolved in courts located in Marion County, Indiana.
